OUR STORY
For over a century, Domaine Albin Jacumin has been writing its story in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Four generations of winemakers have succeeded one another, passing down from father to son their expertise, their passion for the vines, and their commitment to tradition.
Over the years, the estate has grown thanks to the hard work and dedication of each generation. After laying the foundations of this remarkable journey, Aimé passed the legacy on to his son Alain and his wife Sylvette, who continued the family’s work while expanding the vineyard.
Today, Albin and his wife Agnès carry on this story with passion. They draw upon the experience handed down by their predecessors while introducing their own vision and modernizing the estate's practices, all to ensure the full expression of the terroir continues to shine through.
A new generation is now stepping forward with the arrival of Baptiste Jacumin at the estate. Working alongside his family, he is passionately committed to upholding the expertise passed down over the last century.

Each generation brings its own sensibility and signature to the wines of Domaine Albin Jacumin. While vineyard practices and traditions are passed down over time, each winemaker contributes to writing a new chapter in this story. The estate’s richness also stems from an exceptional terroir, defined by the diversity of its soils. This mosaic of vineyard plots yields wines that are complex and elegant, with excellent aging potential.

Through conscientious vineyard management and constant attention to every stage of production, Albin seeks to craft wines of great finesse that respect their terroir. True to the estate's spirit, each cuvée is conceived as a traditional wine, capable of fully expressing its character over the years. Our wines can be enjoyed now, yet offer aging potential of ten years or more, depending on the vintage.
