This mosaic of terroirs offers a remarkable diversity of soils, comprising rounded pebbles, red sandstone, and brown earth, set over a clay-limestone subsoil. Combined with the Mediterranean climate and the Mistral wind, these soils allow each grape variety to fully express its character. The average age of the vines is around 50 years, with yields intentionally limited to 25–30 hl/ha for the Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, prioritizing concentration, balance, and grape quality.

The expression of our grape varieties

Raisins rouges

Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red

The traditional grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape make up our red wines, expressing the full richness of our terroir. Grenache, the dominant variety, lends power, roundness, and generosity. Mourvèdre provides structure and depth, Syrah offers color, aromatic finesse, and complexity, while Cinsault contributes suppleness and fruitiness.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape - White

The white grape varieties grown on the estate yield wines of great finesse and balance. Grenache Blanc contributes richness and intensity, Bourboulenc adds floral notes and lovely freshness, while Clairette rounds out the blend with its liveliness and elegance.

Raisins rouges

Côtes du Rhône - Red

On our plots in Courthézon (Les Bédines) and Sérignan-du-Comtat (Les Escarteyrades), we cultivate grape varieties suited to these sandy and gravelly terroirs. Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan combine to lend the wines their character, structure, and aromatic richness.

Vin de France - Rosé et Red

The grape varieties used for our red Vins de France and our rosé reflect the full diversity of our vineyard. Syrah contributes color, aromatic finesse, and richness, while Counoise adds freshness and elegance. Marselan rounds out the blend with its structure and depth, whereas Cinsault, also vinified as a single-varietal wine (100% Cinsault), brings suppleness, fruitiness, and delicacy.
