Wine tasting comments

2016

Displaying a deep dark red with a superb shine and lighter shades starting to form.
The first nose is dominated by wood notes alongside hints of coffee and soft spices. When stirred, it opens up onto aromas of Kirch, black fruit jam(blackberry, blueberry), coco and dried flowers.
The mouth is ample and full from the onset, with many melted tannins. The sensation of opulence and maturity remains up to the finish with a very soft tannic structure rounded by a nice sweetness. The finish is long, liquorish with a true sensation of softness. Ideal with jugged wild boar or cheese.
